Q & A
Who We Serve
The great thing about therapy, is even just one session is effective! From there, the rule of thumb is the more sessions you go to, the more change you will see.
How often you should go is different for everyone, and should be planned out with you and your therapist. When you start off with a new therapist, it's common to see them once a week, or bi-weekly. As time goes on, many people will see them less frequently, opting to have check-in sessions to maintain the change you've worked towards.
How spread out your sessions are depends on how quickly you want to see change, what you can afford, and your comfort level. Going to therapy means you're working through something tough - that can be exhausting! So don't forget, how often you go is up to you. More regular sessions does mean more change, but don't be afraid to tell your therapist if you need to spread out your sessions a bit more. As long as you keep going to therapy however you can, you're on the right track!
