Q & A
Who We Serve
Great question! This is probably one of the most common questions we see with clients, and understandably so - you're given a lot of information to decipher and have no idea how to prioritize it all.
Although there are a number of factors, the number one thing you should look at is what diagnosis/reason for therapy the therapist specializes in. This can range from everything from a specific diagnosis such as OCD, a symptom you have such as anxiety or grief, or something you are experiencing such as relationship troubles or work-life balance. It's important your therapist has experience providing therapy for the specific reason you're looking for therapy, and it is best if this is their niche.
Some other things to consider are location (or if you want virtual therapy), if the kind of therapist is covered by your insurance, how much insurance coverage you have and how much the therapist charges, and the type of therapy they specialize in (if you have a preference).
The good news is, we match you based on these factors and even more! Kinthera considers everything that matters to give you the best match possible. If you're having trouble choosing, book an intake call with us!
